On June 10, 2018, the Green Bay FOP was honored to sponsor Golfing for Greg-A Benefit for Greg Urban at Royal Scot Golf Club in New Franken. This benefit was for our Brother, Retired Green Bay Police Department Commander Greg Urban who was in a serious accident in October 2017 and suffered a spinal cord injury.26 foursomes enjoyed a round of golf while meeting with Greg, his family, and friends. There were bucket raffles, meat raffles, booze raffles, 50/50 drawings, and silent auctions. Golfers enjoyed a delicious lunch from Founding Fathers BBQ Competition Team. All of the proceeds from the event will benefit Greg and his wife Connie with the numerous medical expenses and other necessities in order to make Greg’s quality of life comparable to what it was prior to the accident.
