Green Bay Blizzard Public Safety Night
Posted on Jun 3, 2018
On June 1, 2018, the Green Bay Blizzard football team hosted Public Safety Night at the Resch Center in Green Bay. A variety of police, fire, and EMS vehicles and personnel from local public safety organizations were on display outside prior to the game.
For the National Anthem before the game, squad cars were brought onto the field and a large American flag was held by public safety personnel in an inspiring display of patriotism. Halftime featured a demonstration from Green Bay Police Department’s K-9 unit.
Green Bay FOP was proud to sponsor a Public Safety Hospitality Lounge for this event to show our appreciation for the brave men and women who protect our community that we are honored to work with.
We were happy to see familiar faces and meet new friends who stopped by to say hi. Thank you to the Green Bay Blizzard and all of the sponsors of this event. It was a great demonstration of the partnership that our community has with local public safety agencies.
