On June 7, 2018, members of the Green Bay FOP joined other local law enforcement officers from around Northeast Wisconsin for the 32nd Annual Final Leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics Wisconsin. Participants met at Oneida Police Department and ran/biked to Riverside Park in Waupaca.
Green Bay FOP was proud to once again sponsor the Celebration Lunch at Riverside Park which serves as a meeting point for officers from throughout Northeastern Wisconsin and the Fox Valley. Local Special Olympics athletes are also invited to enjoy lunch with the officers. After lunch, the athletes and many officers make their way to Stevens Point for the Special Olympics Wisconsin Summer Games. We are proud to continue our support of this amazing organization and wish good luck to all athletes in the games!
