Donation to WI C.O.P.S. from 19th Annual Green Bay FOP Golf Tournament
Posted on Dec 19, 2019
On December 5, 2019, the Green Bay FOP Board presented a donation to Courtney VanBoxtel and Merry Scully from Wisconsin Concerns of Police Survivors from our 19th Annual Golf Tournament.
Each year, Green Bay FOP donates a percentage of the proceeds from our annual golf tournament to WI C.O.P.S. to assist them with their mission. C.O.P.S. provides resources to assist in the rebuilding the lives of surviving families and co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
In addition to their work for officers and families in Wisconsin, each summer WI C.O.P.S. hosts a week long Kids Camp for children of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty throughout the United States. C.O.P.S. Kids Camp brings these children and their parent/guardian to Wisconsin and provides family interaction, camp activities, grief counseling, and relaxation.
We are thankful to have the wonderful and dedicated individuals at WI C.O.P.S. supporting law enforcement officers and their families throughout our state and look forward to continuing to support them and their efforts. Thank you to all of the our golf tournament attendees and sponsors for making this possible!
